First turbine rises at Freasdail

This week at Freasdail the site team reached a major milestone with the erection of the first turbine. The picture below shows turbine 7 in the evening light.  

When complete Freasdail will produce enough clean, green electricity for around 14,000 homes and provide a community benefits package of £112,000 per year (index linked) or £2.8 million throughout the operational life of the project.
