Turbine foundations continue to take shape at Freasdail - 01 June

This week at Freasdail the team have been continuing to excavate and prepare the turbine foundations ahead of the planned concrete pours. They have also been working to complete the access tracks that traverse the main site.

Concrete pours at Freasdail are due to begin week commencing 06 June and continue for a period of two months. All the concrete required for the foundations will be processed on site at our batching plant pictured adjacent. Aggregate will be supplied to the site from Furnace Quarry. Vehicles will travel south along the A83, before entering the site near Whitehouse.
