March 2012 - RES announces plans for proposed Freasdail Wind Farm

RES is delighted to announce plans for its proposed Freasdail Wind Farm on the Kintyre Peninsula.

The proposed wind farm site is east of the A83 at Gartnagrenach, south of Whitehouse.

It is estimated that the site could accommodate up to 16 wind turbines. The final number of turbines will take into consideration technical, environmental and engineering studies in addition to feedback from the local community.  

RES is committed to engaging with local people on all its developments and will present plans for the Freasdail Wind Farm to the local community very soon.
