April 2013 - Community Visit to Kelburn Wind Farm: Saturday, May 11, 2013
RES are inviting members of the local community to visit RES' Kelburn Wind Farm, near Largs in North Ayrshire, on Saturday 11th May 2013. We have arranged a coach trip, which will depart from the local area at around 8.30am. All costs associated with the trip will be covered by RES.
Visiting a wind farm can be useful in helping people learn more about wind energy and understanding what the project proposed for their area might look like. RES always offer people the opportunity to visit an operating wind farm so they are able to have firsthand experience, this helps dispel common myths and misconceptions about wind turbines.
